What is the ideal age to have a breast lift?
While there is no “correct” age to have a breast lift plastic surgery procedure, an experienced Geisinger physician can let you know if it is an ideal time to have this body contouring surgery. Generally, it is a procedure performed in middle-age and older women, and is recommended for women who are done having children to avoid the effects that breast feeding can have on chest appearance.
Will a breast lift change my bra size?
While breast lift is performed to minimize sagging and add a more youthful contour to breasts, it is not a procedure recommended to strictly increase breast size. However, after breast lift, some women may find that their breasts look and feel more voluptuous and end up upgrading.

Can I lose as much fat as I want with liposuction?
While liposuction surgery does reduce the number of fat cells in the body, it is not a procedure recommended specifically to achieve weight loss goals. Liposuction is concerned with sculpting an area of the body to achieve a more pleasing appearance, rather than the loss of pounds.
What is the ideal shape for a liposuction candidate?

What is the difference between stomach liposuction and tummy tuck procedure?
Liposuction performed in the stomach area targets excess fat lying on top of the abdominal muscles. The tummy tuck procedure is used to tighten the muscles of the abdomen for a more toned, fit appearance. Patients may opt to have liposuction and tummy tuck performed during one surgery in order to get a more dramatic, sexier stomach contour. A blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) specifically targets the eye area and is designed to reduce sagging and remove excess fat and skin.
